Maxi(mizing) Comfort

I’ve always been a travel in comfort type of gal and as a mom of two it still remains a priority for me. The last time we did a big flight with just one babe I found it difficult to find nursing pieces that were still comfortable and fashionable. So this time around I did some research and found Undercover Mama’s nursing dress and boy did it not disappoint! This is a great light weight piece that feels super soft even after washing! The striped gray and white give it a great neutral look that can go with a lot of different sweaters, jackets, and scarves. I paired it with a lighter cotton jean jacket and it worked out perfectly! I love maxi dresses for travel as it acts like a blanket to keep you warm yet you can knot it and shorten if you need to cool off!

The maxi has an easy access top that provides enough privacy during nursing and clips to your favourite nursing bra! I am wearing the size small for reference and I’m 5’2”, it was a tad too long so I hemmed the bottom but you can actually cut it to size! This would have been a great pregnancy piece that would transition well into post-partum. Not a mama? No problem they've made an everyday version of this and if maxi dress is not for you they also have this in a t-shirt version too! So far I’m totally happy with this dress and wish it came in more colours!

Stepping into Warmer Weather

Hi guys! I am so sorry it’s been far too long! After dropping our old lens a couple weeks back, my blogging had been on the back burner. However, my beloved husband surprised me with a great graduation gift early for us to enjoy, so here I am!

It has been HOTTT here in southern Ontario and since we are in the middle of packing for our vacation this upcoming week I thought I’d share a pair of go-to sandals that I know you’ll love! My sister and I realized that these Salt Water Sandals went with EVERY outfit I plan on bringing. As a mom of two, getting out the door quickly and looking decent is always daily goal and these definitely do the trick! They are the perfect combination of comfort and style with a classic look that brings me back to my own childhood! I love that they can be incorporated with lots of different looks and they are honestly so comfortable! I’ve had this pair for almost two years now and they are still looking new! Another bonus is that you can use these in water and I totally see a lot of different splash pads, pools, and beaches in my future with the babies. And speaking of babies, they do come in kid sizes and who wouldn’t want to match! I got a pair for Linden this year and she loves them just as much as her mama!

These beauties come in an assortment of colours and now my biggest dilemma is contemplating whether or not I need another colour! Who am I kidding of course I do!
